Critical Decision Making for the full Arch Implant Rehabilitation
Richard B. Smith, DDS
Implant rehabilitation of the full arch requires a logical, sequential approach to diagnosis and treatment planning that is unique to these types of patients. One must be able to determine the need for surgical intervention such as bone or soft tissue grafting versus prosthetic correction of the anatomic defects. The final restoration options available include a tooth-form fixed prosthesis, “hybrid” fixed prosthesis, or a removable complete over-denture. It is imperative that one knows which final outcome is warranted at the very beginning of treatment.
This presentation will leave participants with a simplified, logical, and organized approach to proper diagnosis and treatment planning in the most demanding full arch rehabilitation cases.
